Daffodils

Saw lots of bunches of wild daffodils today on a walk up Metchosin mountain (which is more like a really big hill). From reading online — these flowers are associated with easter and are often nicknamed “easter Lillies”. They were growing all over the clearings at the top of the mountain.

I’ve done this walk a few times and usually it’s quite dry, but today everything was wet after recent rains. I explored the back way down the mountain and the trail comes out at Olympic View Golf course. Lots of people playing golf but no people on the trail.
