California poppy

Did a walk today at Latoria Creek Park in Victoria and passed through a neighbourhood street on the way back to the car. Along the side of the street in wild grassy sections were California poppies. They weren’t growing in bunches, but were growing mostly alone in the sections of the grass. WebMD says that people use these as medicine to help fall asleep and lower stress.
