Yellow rocket

Yellow rocket / Winter cress
Mustard family

Yellow rocket is an introduced species from Eurasia. It’s a perennial that flowers from May to August.

The basal leaves are edible. They are best tasting in early spring and later become bitter (though still edible). Add them to salads, soups or stews. Or dry the leaves and make tea.
