Blue flax

I’m not really sure what this is. It looks like Blue Flax (exotic species), but I can’t find any documentation that it has naturalized on Vancouver Island. Maybe I found the first plant?

It also looks like Western Blue Flax, but that is a subalpine (1300 – 8000 ft) native flower, and I found this one in my neighbourhood at sea level.
